Claws Inspired By A Cat’s:
Unlike other hammers with straight claws, these claw tips are specially tapered and pointed, much like that on a cat’s paw. The result is the unique ability to dig under embedded nails. The claw tips are also designed to "bite" into the shank of the nail so that you can pull out even a headless nail with ease. This is an essential feature, especially with the growing popularity of power nailers that use nails with thin heads that tend to break off easily.

Unique High Brow Design:
The high brow "rocker" design features a unique longitudinal curvature from the tip of the claw to the top end of the brow. In fact, four separate curves maximize hand-pulling leverage – especially when pulling long nails. This innovative design makes it easy to remove 16 penny common nails up to three and a half inches long in a single pull, enabling you to complete jobs quicker and increase your profit potential. And, because the head never touches the wood, expensive surfaces are never marred or dented. Plus, there is never any need to insert an extra block of wood for leverage or twist the hammer side to side until the nail loosens for removal.

Hammer Head Delivers Maximum Impact Without The Shock:
Most commercially available hammers tout various handle designs, from wood and fiberglass to resin reinforced and those with air pocket cavities, to minimize shock on impact. Unfortunately, this approach tries to mask a symptom rather than address the actual cause of the shock: the design of the head. The High Brow Claw Hammer features a head designed specifically to dissipate most of the impact shock. The energy travels from the face to the neck to the high brow, and finally to the tip of the claw where it releases into the air. So very little of the shock is transferred toward the handle of the hammer. Professionals who use hammers extensively will especially appreciate this feature, as it minimizes injuries to the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Set Any Size Nail With Ease:
Setting nails in awkward or hard-to-reach places often limits you to just one hand, not only making it challenging, but often frustrating. That is why we’ve designed a small inclined cup into the neck of the hammerhead. So the "V" portion of the claw can essentially hold any diameter nail, including finishing nails, as long as its length goes beyond the neck to the extended portion of the claw.

Longer Neck – Perfect For Overstriking:
Conventional hammer necks measure about one inch, severely limiting capability. The High Brow Claw Hammer features a neck design 2.35 inches long – perfect for overstriking to reach, for example, an obscured nail on the other side of a 2x. It’s ideal for framing, deck work, staircase building, and many other jobs.

More Force, Less Effort Using Principles Of Karate:
The ancient Japanese art of self-defense – Karate – is based on the principle of concentrating beyond the point of impact. This is the same principle utilized in the High Brow Claw Hammer design. A slanted neck puts the hammer face at an acute angle in relation to the handle. This special design creates a greater force that penetrates beyond the head of the nail. It maximizes the depth of the hit and drives the nail deeper and faster, yet minimizes the effort to deliver the force.

Contoured Face Optimizes Impact:
In contrast to commercially-available hammers, which feature flat faces, the Highbrow Claw Hammer’s face is designed with a slight convex curve, much like that of a golf driver’s face. The benefit of this design is that the force follows the contour, creating a larger, more efficient hitting area and precision strikes, partially because of longer contact with the face. And it helps drive the nail deeper into the wood.

Side Strike For Tight Spaces:
Tight work spaces, such as when securing electrical boxes or driving nails in between 2xs on a deck, limit striking room and compromise quality and workmanship. For this reason, we have incorporated side strikes on either side of the hammer head. These side strikes are located at the center of mass of the hammerhead, eliminating potential torquing effects when driving the nail to the board.

A well-balanced hammer head drives nails fast.

Lightweight 14 oz head has the same impact as an 18 oz.

HOMING HAMMER

Finish Hammer 14oz.

Smooth Face (20-2110)

Milled Face (20-2120)

A) Trumpet-shaped head for even power distribution on entire face surface, even when hit on edge of head.

B) Head to handle angle provides more accurate driving power.

C) Deep angle nail puller pulls nails without leverage.

Handle is almost 3" longer than an ordinary 16 oz hammer handle, giving better balance and greater striking force.

Claw is designed as a nail-puller. Digs into wood to pull embedded nails. " V " is very sharp, and bites at any position of nails and even pulls headless nails.
