SharkSaw Features:
•Pull-To-Cut:
The SharkSaw blade cuts when drawn toward you. This
results in a more natural, smoother, straighter, and less fatiguing sawing
operation—due in part to SharkSaw’s thinner blade.
•Diamond
Ground Teeth: SharkSaw blades utilize precision
diamond grinding to sharpen each tooth on three sides. The resulting blades
are extremely sharp.
•Raker Tooth: A
special tooth that cleans the sawdust out of the kerf as the blade is pushed
forward.
•Impulse Hardening: SharkSaw’s
teeth are electrically hardened to improve longevity. In fact, they hold
their edge two to three times longer than conventional blades.
•Replaceable Blade: Quick-release
design allows for fast, easy replacement of worn blades.

Composit™ Saw

14" specialty saw is designed to cut the many new varieties
of composite materials--mixtures of polymer and wood fiber--commonly
used in the construction of outdoor decking, railings, and staircases. Composite
materials are prone to stickiness, which often makes them difficult
to cut, but the Composit(TM) Saw's 9-tpi saw blade features raker
spaces, a special design that cleans the bottom of the kerf. Because
this saw does not generate high heat, as an electric saw would,
dangerous kickbacks are eliminated. The Composit(TM) Saw
is perfect for cutting fascia, pickets, posts, and notches for
precision placement. It's also great for cutting treated

10-2318 General
Carpentry Saw 18” • 8 tpi

This
is the largest, fastest-cutting model of the SharkSaw line. Its 18”
blade with aggressive 8 tpi pitch lets it tear through the largest, toughest
jobs you have. Ideal for general carpentry, post and beam construction,
landscape timbers, and railroad ties, it’s the hand-saw to have
when power tools are unavailable (e.g., yards, fields, woods). Despite
its relatively coarse 8 teeth-per-inch, it cuts surprisingly cleanly,
since the minimal set of the teeth slice through wood like a knife.
